ETC 1224 B EURO TRAILER CONVERTER is a direct electrical interface between 12 Volt American highway transport tractors and 24 Volt European trailers. Its enclosure houses 6 individual circuits capable of supplying a total power of 800 Watts at 24 Volts to power both the ABS system and various lighting circuits of a trailer. IT IS DESIGNED TO INTERFACE BETWEEN STANDARD TRACTOR AND TRAILER CONNECTORS AND DOES NOT REQUIRE HARD WIRING. ETC 1224 B EURO TRAILER CONVERTER is compact and light, weighing only 15 pounds. It is flat and can be easily mounted to either the tractor chassis or the front face of the trailer. ETC 1224 B EURO TRAILER CONVERTER is easy to connect. It has two standard 7 pin receptacles - 1 each for input and output. ETC 1224 B internally distributes power replicating the electrical commands of the tractor - making the tractor appear as a 24 volt vehicle to the trailer.
